The Unemployment Crisis

Pre-COVID the United States economy, along with employment, was on a steep upward trend. This catastrophe of an event has not only decreased our employment but decreased it so much that all jobs gained since the Great Recession have been lost. With the Labor Department stating that last week 4.4 million people applied for unemployment, it is truly devastating to analyze the effects of this virus. A decade of work gone in a matter of weeks is disheartening, without a doubt. However, America has made it out of these situations before, and with well thought out leadership decisions, it has the best chances to do so again. As always, stay bullish!
